This is for a mod talked about on the old Forum.The idea is after you defeat the Animist you get the cave for a hideout,the Harbour there is perfect for laying up your ships,when NK gets that working of course.Le Diable had started retexturing the cave and has graciously offerd to finish it if enough people want it.It will also need some coding so it need volunters.This poll will run for 2 weeks
 
Fred Bob be thinking dat turning de Animist Lair into a Pirate Base be good idea if'n it be involvin' a significantly large quest extension to the Save the Children quest. If we end up wid merely a new place to park yer ship and store yer stuff, de interest it be generatin' would likely be short lived IMHO. We be havin' so far lots o' new ships, weapons, plunder dividin', relations, quickie military an' piratin' quests, lots o' game behavior tweaks, and bug fixes galore! But what Fred Bob be really hungry fer in PotC right now be new and challengin' quests tew follow dat include rewards fer successfully completin' dem! Dis pirate hideout could be perhaps a reward from de Spanish Gov'nor fer daring exploits performed fer de Spanish Crown dat only open up fer ye after saving de children an' defeatin' de Animists. De quest would only be possible because de Church be grateful fer yer service an' be willin' recommend ye tew an udderwise skeptical Spanish Gov'nor! Part o' de reward could also be the grantin' of a Spanish LOM tew plunder Spains enemies from yer new base, which could lead tew later episodes, etc. :cheers

We be discussin' about changes tew occur AFTER a player be completin' de Save the Chidren quest, matey! :cheers So, ye has de cave befer an' after, really two cave renderin's! :)
 
Yes thats the idea retexturing of the main cve would be to remove the Animist stuff and replace it with pirate stuff so to speak,El Diable had some ideas on that :cheers:
 
Lets see... lots of cash reward, an awesome ship, reputation boost AND a pirate lair.

Suddenly the Animists had to hire `part-time` staff to cope with the massive influx of budding buccaneers! :cheers

couldn't agree more, and i've started with some ideas. the only problem is, i'll have to give up sleep if i want to finish them soon! maybe i'll have them ready for build 19.1 ^_^
 
El Diabblo said he would finish retexuring the cave IF there was enough interest but we also need somebody to implement the coding for the quest either a new one or a reward for existing one,there a lot of views, need more VOTES ^_^
