The pirate is in the Isla Muelle tavern and wants me to help him grab a gold shipment from the Oxbay Mines. So we land on the Lighthouse beach and the pirates rush off to deal with the guards at the mine - we help out and kill em all. Then we find the gold has already shipped out with a convoy and we have to chase the convoy. I assume at this point that all of the ships in the convoy are supposed to be sunk?? (no info. on this in the quest book). Anyway this is what we do, but the quest never gets updated after the last English ship goes down and I have no idea what to do next - any ideas??

Pirate in the Tavern Quest (Isla Muelle) problems

Ahoy, when you are supposed to chase after the convoy, they want you to go through Greenford to other side. Then when your in Greenford, you have to go out the other entrance (the one that leads to Oxbay), then you'll know what to do.

" border="0" alt="onya.gif" /> I did what you said and find the "convoy" further on beyond Greenford. But they get away from us and the pirate captain legs it back the other way and disappears (I went after him and he is nowhere to be found!) If I avoid the overwhelming number of bandits and head to Oxbay the "convoy" cannot be found either and the description in the quest book about what to do next is complete nonsense - any ideas??
Cat - yes, it would be a good idea to edit the quest book text as it is very misleading. When it mentioned a "convoy" I naturally thought they meant a convoy of ships and headed out to sea where there is indeed a fleet of 6 English ships that you can attack (off the lighthouse beach) but the quest never gets updated because it really means......find the guarded gold shipment travelling overland to Oxbay and attack it.
