Pirates' movies

Yes, my apologies also. I am more than embarrassed, I am ashamed of myself!!! When I realized how carried away I'd gotten, I sent FredBob a PM asking him to delete my last 2 posts here (I had already deleted their content). Fred continued to clean it up even further. Thank you.

Perhaps this has already been answered, I am still rather new here, but this does raise a good question-
Why can't we delete our own posts? <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/dunno.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":shrug" border="0" alt="dunno.gif" />

yes, i've wondered about that myself. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/unsure.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":?" border="0" alt="unsure.gif" /> you could do that before the forum was changed.

I was looking at the list and thought of two:

John Paul Jones - 1959 with Robert Stack (I think this is more of a musical.)
Mutiny on the Bounty - with Sir Anthony Hopkins (Suprised to not see this one!)

Yep, those two aren't on, and now that you mentioned the 1984 remake, I see that the 1962 remake isn't on the list either.

<b>John Paul Jones (1959) : </b>directed by John Farrow, with Robert Stack, Bette Davis
<b>Mutiny on the Bounty (1962) : </b>directed by Lewis Milestone, with Marlon Brando, Trevor Hopkins
<b>The Bounty (1984) : </b>directed by Roger Donaldson, with Mel Gibson, Anthony Hopkins

<b>Prince of Pirates (1953) :</b> directed by Sidney Salkow, with John Derek, Barbara Rush
