I found Port Royal.obj model detailed as seen in the movie.
Only, I can not put it in Maya 5.0 and then export it to .gm. I can't understand the reason.
The cargo template is non-textured because the file was too large:shock
    Any help?

Can I ask where you found this model? We need to make sure we have permission to use it first.

I've already asked, but I'm still waiting for her answer. However, the site in question is:
Port Royal ( Pirates Of The Caribbean - Verry Detailled )

    See image xD

Must be a model made with Google SketchUp by that member "Koen J." there.
This is the description from that page:

This is the town of Port Royal, The Home town of Will Turner and Elizabeth Swann In The Popular Movie: Pirates Of the Caribbean: The Curse Of the Black Pearl, Dead Man's Chest, At World's End!!! I allready made this once, but now I added more accuracy, buildings, real hills, trees, Paths, You Name It ... Enjoy The Town Of Port Royal!! ... Ps, It's all made by me, Didn't steal or Borrow any tree's or buildings ... So please, I worked Pretty Hard on this one ... Don't Claim as your own .. Pirates Ye Be Warned

Hmm .. it was not me. Maybe it was someone else.
My user name on that site is 'Sketch Up' and I signed up yesterday.
Do you think I should write it in the comments?

    Now I try.
I should write a papyrus like this: "Come on behalf of the community of Piratesahoy and we would be interested in your model etc ...":cheeky
    Or just a small sentence:rolleyes:

To be fair, at the moment I am not sure what could be done with it at the moment.
We have no modelers around with time to do a conversion, so any conversion would need to be done by you or him.
While it does look like a nice model, I am not sure if it really matches the current models in the game. A lot of additional work may be required to get it to look similar.
Then when it is added to the game, all quests would need to be adapted to make use of the new model.
So this would be quite a substantial job.

But at the very least, you can let him know that we exist and what we do here.
You never know what might come from it. :doff

The model looks promising, but from those screenshots, it seems to use either very simple textures or no textures at all.
The amount of work required to remap it to use similar textures to this game would be fairly substantial, so personally I'd advise against trying to import this model for the same reasons Pieter mentioned.

Are you right, as @Pieter Boelen said, it will take a hard job to be able to insert this model into the game:doff
