That ship swap is hilarious! I don't see how it can work though, since you'd have to do it BEFORE you get the job.
So before that time, you're not supposed to know you need to.
Isn't there some code in place preventing you from swapping? If not, there should be.
There is from random escort quests!

As for the trading rumours, there's a good chance they're out-of-date. They used to be true up until Build 13, I think.

Well, you have to use what buggs you can, while you can hahaha..
I didn't have a problem with Becket.. His ship was with me sailing around and I could get into the regular exchange screen(goods,crew, cannons, ships) and I swaped with him!
+ Random escort missions are bugged to.. I always steal their goods and if they have good ship then them too... :urgh :urgh

And!! No one is answering me at the bug tracker so I might as well post it here - The cargo missions to tortuga store owner don't work. I checked, the names are right, i'm not late and nothing seems to be wrong except that there is no possible answer about the good's and if I don't deliver the goods in time or sell them, then other store owners don't give me jobs!!

You're absolutely right about Jasmine Cotton; looks like she doesn't have all the dialog options required.
Take attached file and extract it to your main game folder; hopefully she'll accept her cargo then.
No new game required; it should just work straight away.

This fix just takes the "Alan Milds" dialog and copies it for Jasmine Cotton.
If you feel like it, you'd be welcome to change the text in the dialog.h file to be a bit more female and/or piratey, just for fun.

I think this will fit in better... made her kinda piraty/feminist type.. don't want to mess with her HAHA!!

Haha; that's cool! I made some further adjustments to it and will definitly add it to the next patch.

Can you confirm that you were now able to deliver your cargo properly?
