It's working now, but I still can't save my game and the game is still really slow overall
Running out of options...

Also, build 12 completely changed the game it's a no go anyway...

You can use the B11 file I posted there which is older, but I doubt it'll help.
The Build 14 WIP, however, did help on my brother's computer.

You won't get the same old unmodded game that way. The good old stuff will still be there, but a lot added.
You could give it a chance and see if it at least makes a difference to performance.

Well if I can't fix it without installing a modpack that completely changes the game then there's no point for me.
