Real Pirates! Weekly Piracy Report!

Maybe it has just been a slow week for pirates, or I have been to distracted with the release AOP 2 to do any really good digging. From what I could find it was fairly quiet last week with no major incidents to report. I suspect the most likely culprit is the weather though. According to weatheronline.co.uk (http://www.weatheronline.co.uk/marine/weather?03&LANG=en&WIND=g158)wind and waves are not looking good for pirate action off eastern Somalia or near the Seychelles. Winds increasing in Gulf of Aden, but waves are still under about 1 meter. Monsoon weather is expected in about 10 days, with a subsequent decrease in piracy.
