I've contacted a couple of people before, but there's no special guideline I use. I suppose the main thing is we have a proper PR group now for things like this.

Our PR group is pretty much inactive. You would be very welcome to send him a message yourself! :cheers

Lol! Don't blame yourself, your message sounded good enough to me. I would certainly have joined the project if I were him :p

Nice try mate, it's his loss. Unfortunately he doesn't realize what contributing to our project could do for his own publicity. He is missing a golden opportunity to show off his talents and pad his resume.

That is indeed a pretty good point, Thagarr.
Would be even better once we REALLY become well known.

But of course not everyone can be expected to share our enthusiasm without any simple monetary return.
They say money makes the world go round and us making a free AAA level game simply out of enthusiasm and the 'kindness in our hearts' is not a very common thing.
Which is exactly the reason why I want us to succeed!

Thanks! I moved this thread to the Game Promotion subforum, since it might be useful in the future and otherwise it might end up drowned inbetween the applications.
