Unconfirmed Bug Repainting can transform ships into others of the same tier

Transformed a jackass bark and another tier 7 ship into a bermuda sloop by repainting them. Seems to work when they are held by a companion, you can go to appearance and repaint them to the player's ship of the same tier. Seems to become a weird hybrid ship in stats, mixing the stats of the old ship and the new ship type.

Yes, Levis fixed a bug that seemed to allow duplication of ships: Fixed - Weird Effects due to Shipyard Repaint Interface | PiratesAhoy!

It sounds like the bug he fixed was a more serious one than this one.

This less serious part of the bug seems to have survived though.
