Was using the cheats in my last game i took that screenshot then forgot about it :facepalm kinda stuck organizing books on that storyline at the moment.

The install i am on now is cheat free :beer:

And yeah i even have permission for that avatar my friend is the artist he was showing me some art he had done just randomly before we went out to the Tavern a few hours back and i saw that epicness.
 
Cheat mode doesn't work in Woodes Rogers anyway, even if it IS on.
 
I am thinking of going pirate at some point could be fun to live on the fringes and do some smuggling in either case i have found a new favorite way to deal with those pesky Portuguese ,

Huh i did not know that , either way they have a reasonably small fort :wp

And i have allso been able to sneak into town to use him i have done that before to trigger part of Artios Voseys quest i think.
 
Actually just went on a voyage to double check myself sailing under the Spanish flag (-66 relations) i moored at Leviathan Rock then disembarked with a crew escort of 8 men as we approched the outskirts of sao jorge we did have one incident,

we were victorious from there we entered the town without incident and i was able to partake of the services of the gunsmith,

Update : and allso do note i overwrote all the period models with the ones i want to appear with their name changed to that period model so soldier spa 15 is 16 , 17 and so on as opposed to editing the periods much much easier am actually in the golden age of piracy

the town merchant was none to pleased to see me,

And i was attacked at the shore before i boarded my ship by bandits,

You had soldiers come out and meet you?? How did you do that? I have never had that happen to me. :8q
 
Crazyness i don't know what triggers things like that honestly. Could guess maybe its sompthing to do with the land crew i do occasionally see soldier patrols around when i bring men with me and maybe that is what happening here because i did have that bandit attack at the shoreline in much the same way they all as a group came straight for us as soon as i entered that area
 
I didn't know you could take crew with you! Just checked it and you can take up to 10 men! Never bothered talking to them :facepalm.
They are not armed though do i have to arm them one by one ? I gave a sword to one of them and he returned with it at the next landing at least.
 
They should at least have the swords by default. Have you got the latest beta files installed ? they have jack's landcrew fixes/tweaks if you have got the latest ones maybe try with a fresh save :shrug

But even then who knows my landcrew sometimes have guns then other times dont it seems just to be one of the many quirks the game has at the moment.

They only had 1 gold coin each on them xD
I fully equipped the 10 first (no one died yet) though and they keep what i gave them.

Is the "simplified build 14 beta 3.3 wip code" in that post the latest ? I have the 3.2 from moddb.
Yea there are some issues (those books! where are they!), i was thinking on installing this update to try it out.. But my save and my 27 million :8q
But yea, love this game too!
 
Yeah 3.3 is the latest its rely rely good the world map works again along with a few other things.

It is manual in Beta 3.2 and automatic in the Beta 3.3 WIP version.

It is indeed. It contains mainly fixes and improvements. While I have some new content as well, I don't actually have the time to include it right now.
 
Well, it looks good so far! I already got my first frigate but only because that 4th rate out of Speightstown is slow as hell xD

Well that explains alot but asks even more , last time i saw that was on my Xbox copy of they game. why port the game and not the controller configurations i mean rely akella.

(for refrance pressing spacebar worked and my saves are fine and so are all my files the game just derped sompthing chronic for 5 mins its back to normal)
