Hola, I am new in the forum. First of all I am grateful to you for the help that you provide me. The question is the following one: When I am going to the shipyard to buy a new ship there are schooners, lugger, etc. There is never a fleut, corvettes or ships of top classes. Thank you very much.
P.D: Sorry for my english.

the availability of ships in the ship yard depends on coloony level (population etc..)as for first class ships like lineship and other can be only captured at sea . <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> the best way to catch one of them is to make one the nations send a punitive squadron after you

A better way to get a big ship is to watch the tavern rumours for an announcement that a colony is under attack. There should be some large ships doing the attacking, and they'll be severely short of crew, making capturing them a lot easier.

Alternatively, if you'd rather buy your ship honestly than steal it (what sort of pirate are you? <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="xD:" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />) then the Supermod allows all shipyards to sell all ships to you regardless of your character level.

Which brings up the next point - if you're only low level, you'll have penalties to your skills when trying to command a large ship.

Playing the Supermod and it's not true that you can buy bigger ships!!! You had better go out there and catch 'em and that's the truth of it!! As a matter of fact, you can't buy any of the bigger ones in any of the mods including the russian one........... <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/slap.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":slap" border="0" alt="slap.gif" /> <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/readon.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":mm" border="0" alt="readon.gif" />

So, as I was saying, the Supermod allows all shipyards to sell all ships to you regardless of your character level. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="icon_wink.gif" /> But you'll need a lot more money than I have with this character...
