That's RIGHT at the end of the last period. What happens if you use 1829?
 
I remember now this is something I never got to work. The solution was (and is) to delete the if bUSA exists in initmodels around the american soldiers. Then it works. o_O
 
That doesn't make sense; it should work. Have you tried changing that date yet? I'm wondering if you fall OUTSIDE the period code, which stops the initialization.
After all, we KNOW that code works because it works in Master & Commander.
 
1829 no difference. Ok that code works in M&C but I have just tried to start M&C without the code and it
works fine too!! Maybe this is something we can remove completely? As usual I can make a (bad) workaround instead.
 
Once we DO get round to using Pirate_KK's code base, those if-statements are no longer there anyway.
 
Didn't think so. Not a bad fix to have though; it DOES do weird stuff otherwise. :cheeky
 
Pieter, in which file do you change the settings for the select storyline interface.
I mean disable change nation etc.:confused:
 
PROGRAM\INTERFACE\select_storyline.c, you mean?
I already locked it all for you. This in your [Storyline].c triggers it:
