Solved Taking Screenshots

Takeda-One

Prussian Corsair
Storm Modder
Hey folks, does anyone now if there is a better way to take Screenshots without the print-button? I want to make several scrennies in one gamingsession!!!

Screenshots are then saven in your main game folder in TGA format.

Good it works, i was using print screen and having to restart the game everytime i took a screenshot, now i can press F8 and continue playing without having to save the picture before taking another screenshot. I'm using Right Click Convert to change the image type from TGA to PJEG format quick and easy.

I will upload some pictures when i get time. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

P.S. pictures are put as said in the main game directory, by default that is.

P.P.S.
Sorry if its against the rules for replying to an old topic didn't think it was wise to start a new topic just to say it works and thanks, thourght maybe if someone searches one day for this very question they might hopefully stumble across this topic and see how to take pictures, where they are saved and what program to use to convert them if uploading them to forum(s) and/or websites etc.

There's nothing wrong with re-using old threads. Actually, I prefer that over having dozens of threads with the same subject. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/mybad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":facepalm" border="0" alt="mybad.gif" />

Indeed, it simplifies life for all of us that actually pay attention to what is being discussed in various forums around here.

Thats good to hear and thanks, i don't like to make topics if i can find a topic that already has the question i'm asking, i know how quick posts can build up and how easy it is to end up with so many topics with the same question or similar question. I run a flight sim forum based on Microsoft Flight Simulator and have had similar problems but i don't mind so much now because it happens so little, where as a forum like this its different so many questions like how many towns are there, which is the best person to play as, whats the better skill level to play as thats not going to be too hard but not too easy either, how can i add XXX ship as my starting ship etc etc. For FSX its more how can i add a plane to my game but its simple to stop that queston with a simple FAQ, perhaps you could do an FAQ for POTC, one that covers common questions, even posting links to topics that has the question and answer etc, it might help cut down on people making so many common topics. The topic i just made i feel stupid for but every search i tried gave me nothing in returne and i have gone through 8 pages in the POTC general game play tips forum and still nothing leaving me with only ask the stupid question lol.

I do believe we already have a basic FAQ out there, but it may be aimed specifically at PoTC rather than AoP right now. Sadly, the original AoP was a disappointing enough game that it never really made it in the modding community. Still had a hell of a lot of potential, but died an ignominous death, truth be told.

Only after adding some of the mods that are out there, does AoP:CT really begin to shine, but it was too little, too late I believe.

Now CoAS, that one has some serious potential going on from the gate. I'm looking REAL forward to seeing what can be done with this newest edition of the game.

I just bourght AOP: CT aswell, now i know not to install the game. I'm want APO 2: COAS it looks very good i tried a demo version and it was really good, the guns took too long to reload for me to get involved in any real battles early on, if i had improved my skills i would perhaps have seen a difference it looks like the skills go up to 100 and not just 10 which is better i think at least then you won't have such huge differences when you add a couple of points to one area such as aiming or connons etc. The sword fighting was good, how the enemy crew would try to dodge your swings and jabs and you have a energy meter that when empty needs to replenish a little before you can try to strike your eney again, i didn't really notice much in graphics but then i hadn't played POTC that much and was still yet to install the Build 13 Final mod which has been done now and what a good addon that was, i'm having hours of fun and love the new features.

Back on topic though, if AOP is that bad a game then no wounder a FAQ was never made for the game lol, well thanks again.

A demo for CoAS? Uh...? <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/piratesing.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":shock" border="0" alt="piratesing.gif" />

Ok not an actual demo more of a demo to me, it was the full game but obviously i can't talk about that, all i can say is a friend who's into games knows i liked Port Royal 2 and gave me this game to try (he didn't say what it was or anything) i obviously knew what it was when i was installing it but i have uninstalled it now i like to buy my games, i often try the demo's if they release them if they don't then i wait for the game to drop in price very rar do i try a game that is illegally obtained for example i really want the sims 3 and could like so many get it right now but i will wait for it to be released.
