2 minor details from my recent playthrough

1st, if you ever get directed to Caracas for some reason and want to chat with the local bum - the enchanted city quest will get in the way of any relevant dialogue you might want to have with the man. You'll need to get things in order at the tavern first.

2nd - the tanat, morgan's rapier and haudegen are -not- the rarest weapons in the game as I found. In this quest, Oliver Trust carries a cerber - a medium blade second only to the haudegen, as a random drop. If you want it, save before entering his office and reload if the blade doesn't spawn on his corpse.

Morgan´s rapier is the rarest weapon ingame because the cerber and haudegen you can always find random in treasure chests after you bought a treasure map from a smuggler in a pirates tavern. Morgan´s rapier you can only get as a present from him and out of one treasure chest under water in the CoAS.

Yes, you are right. Tanat is not really rare, nor powerful. Poleaxe is powerful and it is not rare so if you are lucky, you might even get it from an NPC's corpse. Haudegen is the best sword in-game. Morgan's Rapier is the best light weapon and Macuahuitl is the best heavy weapon.

Personally i prefer Macuahuitl all over and also give it to all my officers. Then noone has a chance against us.
