The Leviathan

CGI has certainly come a long way since I fought the Kilrathi! This is a CGI concept video "Proof of Concept/pitch" for The Leviathan, not sure if it is for a movie or a video game. According to what I have been able to find so far, it was created by Ruairi Robinson and developed with the assistance of Bord Scannáin na hÉireann/ the Irish Film Board

Holy man, now that is some CGI!

For a second there I thought it might've had something to do with The Old City: Leviathan, but despite the visuals in that game it's got nothing on this.

I have watched a couple of the trailers so far and best I can guess is a space themed Moby Dick. Other than that I am clueless what it is really about.

Yup, that I the impression I got as well, cloud based flying Moby Dick. I am really curious to find out the whole synopsis, I'll post if I find something.
