ZarethPL, you are absolutely right. What I meant was, that "Corsairs:Return of the Legend" is the base game for "City of Abandoned Ships", as Seaward.ru themselves has upgraded the Storm engine for their game to version 2.8 (according to Edward Zaitsev from Seaward.ru)

Keith: Should I ask Edward if he would do an interview with you for the Pirates Ahoy! website? That would be pretty obvious right now, as we are in contact with him anyway?
He might not have the time for it, but IF he does say yes, it would be pretty exclusive - AFAIK the RPGVault are the only site to have one at the moment.

Curious... anyone read this?

Some of the things mentioned in that article, sound awfully reminiscent of features we added to the buildmod earlier(build 12/13).

Back in the old days the main Russian modders like AlexusB were part of the Build mod. You wil see him credited in the Build ReadMe files. Then they went of to make their own mod, the Sea Legend is Back mod. Then they continued work on AoP and I think they eventually became seaward.ru. So some of those people actually worked on the Build mod in the early days.

I play COAS more than two months, game has turned out magnificent! Underwater locations have really gone right! The schedule has noticeably improved. In game three subject lines (England, France and the Netherlands), and a piracy line. Critical bugs it is not observed. My estimation 9,5/10.
I apologize for my English.

you're from russia? you could really help us out, i think! we're having difficulties with reading on the russian modding forums and sites.

All above posts were originally made here on the temporary forum. I figured the information and opinions provided would still be relevant to us here. I also moved some CoAS-related threads to the City of Abandoned Ships Gameplay & Tips, so have a look at the threads there for most of the stuff we have on CoAS.
