Yep. There can be a completely ordinary French tailor there all the time.
Then in Early Explorers, the Dutch and English ones can be teleported there too.
That should make for a lot more simplicity and less exceptions in the code too.
Plus extra functionality in all other time periods.

Initial tests by me indicate that it is working.

It's not a zip, it's a whole new installer. But 7-Zip will open that as well if you just want to look at individual files rather than install the whole thing.

I would always make a copy of your own installation, install the latest updates on that copy, then perform a WinMerge to see what happened.
Bypassing the installation process is NOT going to make for a clean install, so I am never going to recommend that.
