There is an option in the new interface for new icons. I will guess that using the new Icons is what changes the look of the gold.
<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
These icons only apply to goods and not to items. That can't be it.

<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
Then turn it off. It's not something you would need; you're no modder. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/no.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":no" border="0" alt="no.gif" />

nor am i an idiot, so i already turned it off. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

*grumble*

just trying to be helpful...
<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->

<img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/huh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":huh" border="0" alt="huh.gif" /> sorry, but why are you offended? and how where you trying to help?

nah, nevermind <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/mybad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":facepalm" border="0" alt="mybad.gif" />

should've added an emote, I didn't mean it so seriously

ah. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> well, i'm about to begin the infamous sand bluff treasure quest. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/unsure.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":?" border="0" alt="unsure.gif" />

Alright, I did something like 4 or 5 treasure quests so far, and all of them were empty! By now I've got a luck score of 10, so if it has anything to do with that, I don't think so in this case. What could be the problem? The previous game I played with another character just had normal treasures, so I know how it's supposed to work...

well, you probaly did the thing that has been discussed in this forum quite a few times before. you can only do one at a time. if you do two of them at the same time, the first of the two chests will always be empty. or you're just plain damned unlucky.

Well that must be very damned unlucky then, did only do one treasure quest at a time... Beside it was only the main quest, does that hurt also?

don't think so. you do know that having 10 luck doesn't mean a 100% chance in treasure chests, smuggling, etc. do you? well, now you do.

Sorry to change topic slightly and Im guessing the answer will be 'a patch' but the images above look like those from AoP, whats going on? :s

Thanks Thomas. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/me.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":onya" border="0" alt="me.gif" />

it's in the same place it always was. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/dunno.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":shrug" border="0" alt="dunno.gif" /> it can be closed at times though.

really? is <b>directly</b> in front of the door of that house to left of the big gates? i just can't seem to find it.

ok, i found it. and i have to say that the pics that were provided in the first post were really unhelpful! i was looking in completely the wrong place. i didn't realise the door was under some stairs.

i also found a dungeon in redmond, which i don't think was in this guide?

if you didn't realize it, then you couldn't have found it in the stock game either. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/huh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":huh" border="0" alt="huh.gif" /> i think just about evryone knows about the redmond dungeon, except the new players. there are more than those two though.
