Could fix two bugs in the game so far, see:
[topic="9036"]mentor perk and calculation of officers' experiences[/topic]
[topic="10832"]enemies in the jungle can't attack[/topic]

If you were able to fix bugs, too, please post here, which bug and how to fix.

I'd like to collect some more fixes and then release an unofficial update6, or CyberOps even makes it official? By the way, how is CyberOps's work on the next update ongoing?

From what i´ve readen Supermod development is closed. The status of the expansion is unknown.
Cyberops team is working in their pirate simulator: http://psmmods.com/portal.php

About your bug fixes, good job. You are probably the only one modder working with supermod. I haven't played any game with supermod but I´d wish someone could fix two supermod failures or misses in comparisition with 1.5 game. I myself not enough skilled to find solution.
1.- the cross in spyglass view doesn´t appear.
2.- the cross when a colony is under attack doesn't appear.
And as i said before, i don´t like the crew on deck in 1st person view.
If you need help or feed back i´ll be around here.

You mean for aiming the cannons, I suppose?

Hmm, adding this to the spyglass might get more complicated, I don't know if I'll give that a try.

Can you be more precise about the second case? I've been experimenting quite a while with the supermod, but started new games quite often and did not get there yet.

The people on deck - well, let's this better discuss [topic="10773"]here[/topic].

I don't know if the game can allow you to shoot while looking through the spyglass - it's not meant to be a telescopic gunsight!

The second case, the cross not appearing when a colony is under attack, is something I've noticed too. Basically, in official V1.50, when you learn that a colony is under attack, a red cross appears next to it on the "paper" map. This happens if one of your own colonies is under attack, or if you learn from a tavern rumour that someone else's colony is being attacked. If you then sail to the colony and defeat the attacker, or when the game resolves the attack by itself, the cross disappears. This is particularly important if it's one of your colonies because when you go there, if you don't destroy or capture the whole attacking force, then when you leave the colony falls. And sometimes not all the enemy ships are visible. Which means you may think you've saved the colony, then you sail away and lose it anyway. And that's why, when I wanted to try the main quest again, I re-installed the game and installed the official V1.50 patch rather than the Supermod. After defeating anything in sight, I check the paper map; if the cross is still there, I still have to find someone to attack.

I understand - so I suppose, the spyglass cross shall appear for an attacked fort then rather than being an aiming cross.

If your colony is under attack, you lose it when leaving, no matter if your fort still would be stronger than the enemy ships? If so, I think this should be changed, too.

Let's say you sailed there, found five ships that could defeat your fort, and you leave then leaving one or two ships having no chance.
So the fight should go on as if you never intervened, and the fort then will defeat the remaining ships.

But this appears to be a rather heavy task - might have a look, but can't say if I'll find enough time for that.
