Solved Weird menu/inventory lag (solved, thanks!)

Hey guys,

I recently wanted to replay the original POTC without mods (New Horizons is great but I'm too used to the original to apreciate some of the changes made), however I keep running into 1 issue.

For instance, I start the game, everything works fine. I can start a new game, no problem.
The issue starts whenever I get to a menu in which I can scroll to the left or right. For instance, if I start the game and attempt to load a save, it will "scroll" in super slow-motion (at least 30x slower than it normally would). This also happens whenever I open my inventory or try to buy/sell stuff. This is making the game completely unplayable.

Is this a known issue?
My PC can easily handle the game (what PC can't nowadays?)

Windows 10 64-bit
i7 2600 @ 3.4GHz
8GB RAM
MSI R9 390 8GB

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Downloading bandicam and limiting the framerate did indeed work! Thanks a lot!

I do find it rather odd that limiting the FPS through my graphics driver didn't work though... (AMD crimson drivers, R9 390)

I'd certainly like a simpler solution to be found.

I'll try messing with the game for a bit, maybe I'll find something that will work.
I'll post it here if I find anything!

Use rivatuner stastitics server. The best software for capping framerate without doing it from the drivers. Helped by me.
