And some actual `honest-to`-god jibs on that brig (though again they can't seem to make a _flying_ jib to save their lives...)
She looks to me more like the barque's or yacht's hull...
And--dare I believe my eyes?--it looks like they _finally_ fixed the reflection bug.
{In other shots of AOP it was still there, AFAICT}

Yes the sagging lines look much more realistic. Wherever did they see a ship flying three jibs in that manner? The fore and main courses look much more realistic to me also. It looks to me like the graphics will be much improved. Imagine going from gorgeous to super gorgeous. Maybe you great modders will really have something to work with this time around.
Here is how I would like them to design the jibs after a modern day replica of a 28 gun Frigate; the HMS Rose.

Here is the replica of the USS Constitution in 1997 with a gaff rigged fore and aft on the mizzen. I changed some of my frigates in Sea Dogs 2 (build 12) to carry a gaff rigged mizzen.

{On nvidia. Or at least it did for me and some others; haven't tried it since going from gf4 to 6800.}

Hmm...Ive never had any problems running POTC with AA/AF on my FX5700OC card.I am running driver version 76.50 at the moment.Though hopefully I will be able to get the 6600GT shortly.

Ah, I'm used to the coasters with their staysail and two jibs -and- a flying jib. But I guess ~18-~19th century warships had fewer, then? (Or at least _set_ fewer, how ever many they _could_).
