Wicked Wench Rear Lanterns - missing tops

In deck view the rear lanterns of the Wicked Wench appear to be missing their tops. - see image

Everything is OK when looking at the ship in 3rd Person ( birds- eye view )

looks to me like they just need a second surface on the inside.

My guess is that they used alpha channel to make the glass transparent. But then forgotten that the normal of the tops points away from the player in first person and is therefore not visible.

wasn't there going to be glass in those things?

I can confirm, by checking the wireframe in GM Viewer, that the tops weren't even modelled on this ship's lanterns.
However, I think we're looking to use Bonjourmonami's new Black Pearl as a base for a new Wicked Wench, so there's no need to worry about the old version.
