Solved World map crash

Hey :aar

I don't know if there is a thread with the same problem, but.... most time my game crashes when i go into the world map.

Direct Sail works fine... everything other, too.
Sorry for bad english or other things i do wrong :p
 
Can you post your error logs please?
Compile.log, system.log and possibly error.log from your main game folder.
 
I can see nothing overly wrong there. Out of curiosity, did you use the console on purpose?
 
Ehm, usually not xD "Console executed " was in the chat, when i deactivated the ENB

Oh wait, I think ENB uses F12 too.

What graphics card do you have? We had a report last week of worldmap crashes on an Intel card.
 
Did you say you have ENB installed on that? Recommend un-installing that; perhaps it helps?

You have TWO graphics cards??? Check our FAQ; there's a note there on how to make sure PotC runs on the GeForce.
 
Strange indeed. Last time we had worldmap crashes, it was in Build 13 due to overfull cargo holds.
Does it happen exactly at midnight by any chance?
 
I mean, does it happen at the same time that the whole bunch of log messages start appearing?

at the moment,

if i go on to the port / go to world map / go on ship usually my games freeze for a moment, then i have a blackscreen and see my taskbar. Then i use my Windows Task-Manager to exit the game

I still see nothing crash-worthy in there. :(
Maybe it would help to run the game in windowed mode:
Edit engine.ini in your main game folder manually with Notepad.
Set screen_x and screen_y to your desktop resolution. Recommend setting fullscreen to 0.
This makes the game run in windowed mode and allows you to Alt+Tab in and out.

It contains a lot of additional fixes and improvements since Beta 2.5.
 
It's been a while since I visited. I know if you find four special items, he can increase your maximum health.
And he has an interest in nature and can get you some lovely leeches.

I still have to make some code adjustments to make him a bit more important. That'll be fun! :cheeky
