I think Morgan is getting a crash course in mythology in these threads. Unfortunately, I don't think that particular therapist should be recommended to Morgan, as she was very condescending to that cavemen and contributed to his inferiority complex. It was really in spite of her that they have their own television series now. And from what I understand it isn't even the same actors who play the cavemen on the Geico commercials who are going to star in the television series, so there is another strike against that caveophobic therapist.
Morgan would do well to study the finer points of herbalism, as I understand that can be very relaxing, and maybe also lead to a breakthrough cure from which he would become rich and famous. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/me.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":onya" border="0" alt="me.gif" />
 
Herbalism, an interest idea. I can just see Morgan now sitting in a room with his green visor on systematically arranging his collection of dried plants. After intensive training he could become a herbalist and use these plants for medicinal and/or culinary purposes. This might even lend itself to a reality tv show where guests would pick out a dried plant, name it, then tell exactly what it is for or how it can be used. That might be some interesting television. Maybe he could get those new cavemen on the show, or better yet that caveophobic therapist.
 
How about that, Morgan? We have pretty much given you a road map for the future that we think might land you in a pretty successful career. You just have to rapidly develop an interest in the study of dried of plants and after that the sky is the limit, at least according to Meigger and myself. And it would be the proverbial cherry on the top if you could somehow corral that caveophobic therapist onto your future show for some long overdue retribution for the damage she did to that poor caveman's psyche.

We are probably beyond help, but you are not. We are attempting to eliminate any pain and suffering you are feeling from this thread. Our aim is to please and set you on the right track, without handcuffing your other interests no matter what they may be.
 
i think that last thing won't be a problem. i think i've proven that enough by my absence.
 
Yes, you've proven it now, but you haven't been exposed all that long. You may find it more difficult to pull yourself away next time as your sucked deeper into this vortex of brain damage. I'm sure Meigger agrees with this assessment.
 
The vortex of brain damage can have a lasting affect on a persons ability to stay afloat. This transformation will cause reverberations throughout the internal working of an individuals mind and body. Knowledge on how to combat these changes is extremely necessary in order to eliminate the most adverse reactions brought about by this vortex. Counter rotary motions are considered effective in diminishing the effects. Standing up and spinning in the opposite direction should do the trick. Just be careful to spin in an open area in case you fall down. That way you will not land on anyone or anything.

My dad worked at Brookhaven National Laboratory from ’62 – ’75 and was a mechanical (packaging) engineer who worked on the tandem (linear) Van De Graph and Isabelle (magnetron) particle accelerators. For those who don't know these, at one time they were the two most powerful magnetic fields ever created on earth.

I became very interested in quantum mechanics/physics and didn't even know it!!!

Back when I was a kid I read an article in Scientific American that described how magnets reversed their polarity from time to time…(every 2 - 10,000 yrs or so, depending on size)

After questioning my father and his work buddies while visiting the Lab site a few times, I wrote a high school paper on how magnetic reversals on a grand scale (Earth) might cause a great cataclysm.. because when a magnet reverses its poles, for a brief moment (relatively speaking) the magnetic field erodes and then dissipates, this holds true for all Earthly models thus far. Earth is currently by most estimates in the "eroding" phase right now with the poles shifting and such.

The basis of my paper was that in the Ionosphere there is this scary little feature called the Van Allen Radiation Belt. Fortunately the earth's magnetic field keeps the Van Allen belt out in space...think about it...

Fun stuff, huh??

No, that was informative. From vortex's of brain damage to reverse polarity. It staggers the imagination, and does indeed draw you further in the more posts you read in this thread. I state that if the Earth really is in this "eroding phase" than, Meigger, it would help explain the sudden appearance of all of these creatures that we have been battling in these threads. Fabled creatures of yore like the Yuk and more recent beings like the frog eaters would certainly seem to spell out quite clearly that the time for us humans may be rapidly coming to an end and the time of fabled creatures like these that have been appearing after having been absent for so long (except in our imaginations) are about to make their reappearance on this Earth and these threads may very well be the gateway. Maybe we should be checking the telluric current for signs of Van Allen interference which would then influence the propogation of these creatures.

BTW, Meigger, I wholeheartedly endorse your counter rotary motions exercise as a way to counterbalance the effects bought about by the vortex. Spin away, Morgan, it will do you some good.
 
Very informative indeed. However, the "eroding phase" of Earth will give rise to the earth bound brown insects with the Cockroach ruling the remaining land masses. Mystical creatures have come and gone, but the cockroach has always remained. It will be here long after everything else is gone. A very interesting insect, but that is a topic for another thread.

I think Morgan's psychic has been greatly improved by his winning "Pirate of the Month."

That victory should reverse the vortex and complete his tranformation.

i'm beginning to think i'm the most sensible around here.

if this has happened before (and i know it has), shouldn't the effects have been more noticable if it was so devastating?

An infestation can be extremely bad. But you know you can eat them. They taste very good if cooked properly and are very high in protein.

Theorists have stated they think the Van Allen belt (which is an aura) dissapates so quickly, that very little is affected by this sudden increase of radiation.

The time span between the switch from north to south is really what is critical. The Van Allen belt also acts as a filter to many of the harmful radiation from the Sun.

If the switch is quick (relatively speaking), the belt will reform quickly and we may not notice any changes in the short time.

If the switch takes awhile (a millenium or so) there could be some drastic changes.

Scientist believe that the feild cycles from north to south every 200,000 to 250,000 years.

No one yet has offered a theory as to how long the flip will take.
