I just started to play this new Build 13 full. For the first time I am trying to play as Beatrice. It seems to me that between some characters are some slight differences what about their movements concerns. Blaze seemed to me the fastest of all. I have chosen the swashbucklers difficulty but I am very often dead. But I think it´s good because the game will be well challenging. I chose Bermuda sloop as my first ship. I never used it yet in the past. It looks very fast and this is the most important in the beginning of the game. I think it´s too soon to talk about deeper impressions and experiences from playing yet. I hope you will write here yours in the course of your proceeding in game. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/hi.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":gday" border="0" alt="hi.gif" />


After several testing fights I have reverted to old character because these from AoP Beatrice and Blaze do sidesteps that are hindering in the course of fight and hero can dodge to the sides only with difficulties. The movement of original heroes - Nathaniel and company is quite better what about movement into sides concerns. The sidegliding on the ground is much better, practical and promt than classical sidesteps that Blaze and Beatrice do. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/mybad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":facepalm" border="0" alt="mybad.gif" />

I continue. When game starts the window with picture opens where is the headline Loading Community Build 13.....with ship and fort and below is Image by Captain Sir Henry Morgan. But I think this picture originates from Sea Dogs. So, I don´t know then. Wouldn´t be better to write nothing here what about author concerns?

The Buildsettings.h looks very well at the first glance and is quite clear. But I still don´t know one thing. When I use Auto_Aimed_Fire and option 1, can I use in that option manual aiming or do I have to swith to option 0?
Does option 1 adds automatic aming only or does simultaneously prevent from manual aiming? <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/piratesing.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":shock" border="0" alt="piratesing.gif" />

But it isn´t not important for me to much already because anyway I switched it into option 0 and started to play anew. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/mybad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":facepalm" border="0" alt="mybad.gif" />
 
With Auto Aiming on 1, you can still manually fire with the V-key. We don't like removing content around here, as you know. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="icon_wink.gif" />

I can't remove that text anyway. And Captain Sir Henry Morgan did do some work on it: He added the Pirates of the Caribbean text onto the loading screen.

that wall of plants called a jungle is pretty annoying. it is realistic though, so i don't mind. did you know that you can talk to the jungle? what i found rather odd was something i encoutered on guadeloupe (i think): three farm buildings of which i could walk through the walls and talk to the farmer inside. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/dunno.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":shrug" border="0" alt="dunno.gif" /> i was pretty surprised when i could talk to soldier behind a stockade in greenford and trigger a spanish invasion. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/8q.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":8q" border="0" alt="8q.gif" />

Hi Rad, I was having crashes when I installed B13 over top of 12.1, reinstalled stock game and then installed B13 and so far all seems good, running a GF6600GT <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/par-ty.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheers" border="0" alt="par-ty.gif" />

completed the main quest without any mayor problems!
My install is: stockgame and Build13 full, no updates.
The Mefisto quest still has it's old bugs and it would be
very nice if somebody could fix it! Wish it could be me,
but not clever enough!
When playing the Mefisto quest, I went back to the Main Quest in the
middle of it and it makes a mess of the game. I'd say to finsih it
first or play it after the main quest! I went back to the main after
the padre on Isla Muelle gave the order to deliver a letter to the
priest on Redmond. When, during playing the main quest, I sailed to Oxbay
Island encountered the Guys in red Nightgowns without getting the order from the padre
on Isla Muelle. Meeting Danielle outside the Tavern she would not talk and the gate
was locked, so I had to go back to a save and finish the Mefisto quest first!
I bought a fine ship on Quebradas(Escalated Battleship) which I did not see in any
of the other shipyards. Oh, there was one more bug: After the storm, getting washed up
on the beach the action of the Character runs in slow motion, which goes back to
normal after boarding the ship on the beach. I play the game in Arcade mode with
the ammo, food and gunpowder mode turned off! Now I'm sailing the Black Pearl
and will sail to the new islands to have a look around! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="xD:" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />
 
My contratulations Noise. I am gald the game can be played to the end. It´s very good infomation. What about conquering Greenfort ? Everything OK?

You are lucky man Skull. I have still some problems. But I think my computer is good because I am playing G3 for about 1,5 month without any problems. And this is one of the most demanding games what about hardware concerns today. You have american verison and I have European version, maybe it can cost some problems, I don´t know. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/mybad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":facepalm" border="0" alt="mybad.gif" />
 
No probs either, although I've only played for 10 hours or so - the only thing I find annoying is the distance I had to travel between Oxbay and Redmond, and when I stopped to sell a few captured ships and repair mine, I found myself in a town just like Greenford... <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/unsure.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":?" border="0" alt="unsure.gif" />

Strange things happens in the life. I have two original games of PoTC bought in my country. First I bought as soon as the game were released and because my original game was quite devastated already by repeated playing, after probably 2 years I bought new version of the same game. When I uninstalled the game today I decided to try to use my older version of the game. I compared this two versions, but mates, these allegedly identical CDs looks quite differently. So I installed this older verison and further installed only Build 13 full without update 1. And I have played about 1 hour already and my game didn´t crash at all so far. So, it seems to me I have two version of the game, old, quite stable and new very unstable. Unfortunately I always used lately the new one. So, I hope my playing will be more successfull and pleasurable now. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/mybad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":facepalm" border="0" alt="mybad.gif" />

No Problem at all! None at all except for the known ones, which we
all know how to handle! I'll install the Buil13 update1 soon to check
out. Keeps me away from that buggy game called AOP!!!!!!! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/buds.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":drunk" border="0" alt="buds.gif" />
 
the only problems i've had so far with the mefisto quest where oddly timed animist encounters. maybe all those CTD's are caused by the new version of the game that i have.

Pretty bad, actually. I lost all files I had for that and now the files are not Build 13 compatible and scattered through my Outlook inbox and it'll take a lot of effort to reassemble everything. I don't have the time for that anymore. I asked Maximus if he could please do that instead.
 
What to do with this frequent and prolonged sticking ( freezing) of the game ? Once I measured it and it takes about 30 seconds. Do you have any ideas? <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/mybad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":facepalm" border="0" alt="mybad.gif" />

And I think the advancing in levels is too fast now. I am playing only for a while - about 3 hours and I am at 5 level already. I think it could be a litle slowed down. Not somehow distinctly but at least partially. Especially the possibility of the new abilities should be quite slowed down. I fulfilled two quests what about delivery goods for storekeepers concerns and every time my level increased and I think it´s too fast. I think it´s not too much amusing and challenging to play about 2/3 of the game with all characteristics at max level. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/mybad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":facepalm" border="0" alt="mybad.gif" />

I am at Cuba now and the freezing of the game is terrible here. I suspect it could have something to do with sound. Previously there was an extra sounds that could be switched off but now everything were probably included into Build 13 full without any possibility of not using these extra sounds. The similar freezing happened in AlesusB mod for some reasons but not so pronouncedly. Maybe do you use something from this mod that caused such a freezing? Maybe AlexusB could give you some tips what can cause it and how to remove it. I had to load the game as I stood in Havana port and waited and waited for stopping freezing but unfortunately it didn´t happen. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/mybad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":facepalm" border="0" alt="mybad.gif" />

I've timed several and the shortest (long wait) so far was 25 Sec. and most are around 45 to 50 seconds.

I guess most people don't mind or are already used to it so we just wait.
At least I know to be extra patient when anything interrupts the map mode sailing screen.
