This walkthrough was created using Build 14 Beta 3-5(WIP) it may differ from other versions of the game.
This quest may cause problems if played at the same time as Artois Voysey or Nigel Blythe – it is best to do this 1st then go to Nevis for the first time
There are No Quest Book entries for this quest
The part in BLUE only happens if you are playing the Tales of a Sea Hawk story - Otherwise the quest starts here ******You must have Leadership Skill greater than 4 - if not Edgar will not let you out of cell
CHECK for LEADERSHIP Level 4 or less - ( If you have Leadership Skill level of 4 or less then Edgar will not release you - But you can go back to the prison later and hire Edgar if you want to employ him and do this side quest )
If Edgar releases you from cell and you don’t hire him – QUEST OVER - NOT sure about this - you may be able to go back later and hire him
This quest starts at Port Royale Prison (see Main Story line )
Edgar Attwood, jailer, talks to you – lets you out of cell
Hire him Yes/ No - if hired - starts sidequest
Fight Soldiers – Silehard arrives and talks to you - tell him you want to hire Edgar – Transported to Town Hall – Silehard talks to you. Given next Main Story line Quest quest – Find Raoul Rheims
Go to Port – outside Port Gate Edgar walks up and talks to you – Hire him.
Above is Tales of a Sea Hawk Start
******All others start by going to Port Royale Prison and talking to Edgar there
Sail to Bridgetown, Barbados – on jetty talk to self – Edgar must be active officer with you – go to tavern – Auto-walk to Edgar – he talks to you – defend his honour – Fight.– Keep Edgar alive
Sail to Port Royale, Jamaica – on jetty crewman runs up and talks to you – go to tavern
Talk to 2 soldiers – CHOICES
- 1) - Pay for Information ( 500 ) – then agree to plan – Transported to Port – go down steps – kill soldiers guarding Edgar – Edgar rescued – becomes Officer -- Quest Over ( if you fail to kill soldiers in time Edgar will board ship – Transported to Sea – board Prison Ship in Port & free Edgar ) Kill the Captain ( Jack Greenfield ) & Edgar becomes officer.
- 2) - Don’t Pay for Information – go to Prison and talk to Prison Commandant – Pay Prison Commandant to free Edgar ( 5,000 ) – Edgar rescued – becomes Officer - Quest Over
- 3) - Don't Pay for Information – go to Prison and talk to Prison Commandant - Don’t pay Prison Commandant – go back and talk to soldiers in tavern - then agree to plan – as (1) above.
- 4) - If you Pay for Information – then don’t agree to plan – either talk to Prison Commandant OR Attack Prison Ship in Port. - Kill the Captain ( Jack Greenfield ) & Edgar becomes officer
Edgar Rescued – Quest Over.
