    Pirates! Gold Problem

    I managed to find the DOS version and it has the same problems. Also, the newest patches seem to be "version 3", which is the same as the game available on the net. I could live with all the other glitches but the fact that my gold reserves occasionally drop to zero for no reason sucks the guts...

    I got Pirates gold for windows, and there's definitely something wrong with the game, aside from the swordfighting problem I mentioned under the swordfighting thread. The Land battle controls aren't responding, and if they do, they respond with massive delay, which means I am unable to control...

    Mouse + keyboard, but neither seem to work properly. It's even worse with the mouse, with the numpad I can get at least some response but with the mouse everything's totally random. Maybe it's a bug?

    'Allo mates, I recently obtained Pirates Gold for Windows from an abandonware site, and I'm presently trying to get a grasp of the game. I'm having problems with fencing, because there seems to be a huge delay whenever I try to do anything. Like when I hit attack, for about 10 seconds nothing...
