    Abandon Ship

Yup, already know the game when it was just announced, one or two years ago I suppose. Immediately caught my interest, even if it will possibly be a Roguelike (I really like Ironcast, but the RNG just pisses me off sometimes). And fortunately, we will have different types of ship to command.

    New Horizons Remastered v0.1.1.21 Released

Found them! THX 11-38! Can you toggle the UI off? Awww, not even for money? :(

    New Horizons Remastered v0.1.1.21 Released

Could you tell me please, where the Screenshots are located (If this function is enabled at all)? Because if you press P, you hear a snap. You know, promotion and advertising and stuff... (And I'm still looking forward for a way to receive the soundtrack ;) )

    Tempest [Steam Early Access]

Pre-release review of the upcoming "Treasure Islands"-DLC Due to a mistake, I was one of the fortunate ones to receive the pre-release keys for the Treasure Island DLC. It came from a friend, who claims it came from a friend of his, and even then from their friend. Well, where to start? First...

Announcing New Horizons Remastered - Bringing our best work to Unity

Really? I don't remember loading screens in PotC, besides the usual "Dock at port". Or do you mean something else?

    Extreme difficult missions

Sounds pretty much like abusing the AI (Assuming in the first case, that the enemy ships aren't programmed to avoid mines) for me. And what exactly has the fact, that you can't deploy mines in CoaS, to do with this discussion? I also would really like to know how much harder CoaS actually is...

    Extreme difficult missions

As I haven't played the game, I'll just construct a specific scenario to hopefully explain what good design means to me: Imagine a small village with lots of enemies. Your goal is to escape to the other side. You can try to attack them, but due to their sheer numbers, you will get overwhelmed...
  8. Dat Zorro

    Extreme difficult missions

If you can only win by using tricks (for example exploiting the weak AI) instead of, well, playing skillfully, because the enemy is purposely overpowered and impossible to beat in a straight-out fight, then this isn't good design.
  9. Dat Zorro

    Extreme difficult missions

Then until what level should I have played? I was level 20-something (I think), had good equipment, a 1st rate with full crew and I was still getting slaughtered by that Spanish ambush, because for reasons only the game could give, I was all alone until I miraculously managed to run past them...
  10. Dat Zorro

    Extreme difficult missions

To be fair, CoaS had it's fair share of bullshitting hard missions as well. And I'm not even talking about those stupid "Find a pixel-sized object in an undefined part of the jungle"-quests. No, it's that story mission where you are assaulting a Spanish city on the land together with other...
