    Okay, it does have an Open World with wrecks, flotsam and random encounters, but you have to manually select "Open World" in the map screen. Also, the view range is hilariously short, where your glasses are the only way to discern what that thing in the distance is.

    Yeah okay, with the free Clipper, it's way too easy at the start when you can just overwhelm everything due to superior crew numbers and send off to swashbuckling adventures for money.     A few hundred hours in SP are greatly exaggerated, as I'm at 86 hours and have pretty much done everything (5 or so hours from the Treasure Island DLC alone), but I still had more fun than every other pirate game as it just doesn't do anything wrong. Easily my favourite pirate game out there.
