Need Help After final: how do I get rid of my title and my lands?

First attempt (still only a neutral relationship with England): I attacked a Dutch fleet. When my ships sunk the first Dutch ship, my relationship with England changed to wary (-46), when we sunk the next Dutch ship, my relationship with England changed to hostile (have forgotten the value)...

Is there a connection between a town patrol recognizing me as a pirate and coast guard ships waiting for me when I go to sea?

I don't have that savegame any more, though I do have the one right after I landed on the beach. I could imagine, that the ships anchored up in the same bay, as I did, which could explain, why I encountered them, right when I went to sea.

Is there a connection between a town patrol recognizing me as a pirate and coast guard ships waiting for me when I go to sea?

So ships around the coast may also remember the player's ship like the forts? That would explain, how they could be hostile to me, even if I had made peace with England while ashore. It doesn't explain, how they could be in the same area, if I alternated between staying ashore for almost two...

Need Help After final: how do I get rid of my title and my lands?

Will the modified version of "nations.c" only work that way for Britain? And is it a modification you've only made for my sake?

Unconfirmed Bug Aren't the innkeeper and the serving wenches supposed to cower during a fight?

Hopefully, it's just a bug from a very long game by now.

Is there a connection between a town patrol recognizing me as a pirate and coast guard ships waiting for me when I go to sea?

I decided to play nice with the British. So I paid sir Henry Moore a visit in Port Royale and asked for forgiveness and paid the demanded compensation. When I later took care of a few errands in the town, I ran into a patrol, which recognized me as a pirate. Of course, I wouldn't let myself be...

Unconfirmed Bug Aren't the innkeeper and the serving wenches supposed to cower during a fight?

I've noticed, that everybody now walks around all unconcerned, when a fight takes place at the inns - even if it's an armed fight. This includes the unarmed civilians like the serving wench and the innkeeper. Often they get in the way of the fighting parties and make things even more...

    Unconfirmed Bug What enemy?

In Port Royale an English soldier tried to arrest me. But because I'm practically an enemy of all nations by now (except the pirates, but I don't fly a pirate flag), the game engine couldn't decide, what to call me. I don't know, if it's a solvable issue. I would suggest naming such an enemy of...

Perhaps give the agent victualier and the dockyard commisioner an extra bit of dialogue in case of personal town?

Would "comrade" not be more appropriate, when Antigua is on pirate hands? If Antigua is personal, I rule the town and should get some respect when greeted, and then "ma'am" is sufficient.

Fix in Progress The Santiago harbour fast travel locator is placed at the portal to the harbour, not the pier

The same goes for Oranjestad on Aruba. If one uses fast travel to get to the harbour, one ends up at the gate from the harbour area out to the outskirts and must walk/run across the enormous harbor area rather than just arrive at the end of the pier.

Need Help After final: how do I get rid of my title and my lands?

I'm more concerned about the fact, that sinking English ships after I had sunk the Portuguese ship had no effect. Only the first sunk ship seems to cause the post in the ship's log and affect my ownership of lands and title. After that it's purely the relationship points, which are changed. But...

Need Help After final: how do I get rid of my title and my lands?

As long as I sink an English ship first, it works. I went back to the old save with the Black Pearl and finished the main story. Helped the Researcher home to Barbados and went to see Henry Moore on Jamaica. I turned Silehart over to him and chose to resume my friendly relationship with...

Where do I find the Researcher's outfit?

I have discovered, that I can't take Bridgetown and Speightstown for myself. So I've decided to make them Swedish, as that is the only nation not hostile to me. You've just answered my question about a Swedish tailor.

What is the difference between the different types of captain?

So it's a matter of different perks for an officer in command of one of my ships?

Who should I talk to, if I want to join the Brethren of the Coast?

I have tried to speak to the "governor" of Turks, but he's only able to help me make peace with the pirates, if I've become enemies with them. So I'm rather curious about who to talk to, if I want to become a member of the Brethren of the Coast.

What is the difference between the different types of captain?

I've noticed, that I originally started out as a captain. When Silehart in "Tales of a Sea Hawk" recruited me and gave me a letter of marque, I became a privateer captain. Later, when I became enemies with England and chose the pirate way, I became a pirate captain. And when I during "Tales of a...

Where do I find the Researcher's outfit?

The tailors offer me all the other variations of the Researcher's outfit: gunner, surgeon and quartermaster, but not the unmodified version. Where should I look for it?
