    Download build 11, or go to the ships init file, find black pearl, and find the line encounter=false or somthing, and set to true.

    They are not used for anything, And your sword, bosuns choice it's called, you can find better ones. Look for a fine bosuns choice, a fine Corsairs Pride, a fine Cardinals Guard and stuff with really fancy names. -Capo

    I dont think it does. I had another one last night. But this was random, I was sailing along in me frigate, or corvette , forget which, and I was about to fight some pirates and CTD, Would this happen from editing the Cocicao charaters file, the nation_init file, or the Character_names files...

    Graywolf, about your sword delema. With the weapons mod off, there is a nice sword in the oxbay caves. It's at the first intersection from greenford instead of heading to oxbay turn and go thru the catacombs. It's the falchiron, its big and powerful. -Capo

    I suggest at least 2 battleships, or, if playing Build 11, a manowar or 2. It almost sank me in my own manowar, thank god for quick repair! Good luck, it is a tough battle, and the battle after that is tougher yet!
