    Firing on ports with spacebar, any effect?

    If you bombard the port long enough, the economy will definitely drop. Also,if there is a fort, eventually it will disappear...

    Are naval battles supposed to be in slow motion?

    Hmm, and I thought the cannon balls travelling in slow motion was due to the fact I'm playing the game with a `P3-800mhz`. But apparently this is not `CPU-related`; perhaps a memory leak during the combat sequences? Even though my system technically doesn't meet minimum requirements...

    Is anyone still playing this game?

    Been playing it off and on the last few weeks. Right now I'm waiting for the "Master Trainer" that restores the 1560's, silver train, rum, tobacco etc that should never have been taken out of the game....

    Arrh mateys, I've been gone from the forums for quite a while (ever since the great disillusionment that is POTC), but got the bug again when Pirates! came out. I was very disappointed that Sid left out the 1560's period, silver train, etc. And no rum or tobacco! What kind of `self-respectin`'...
