    I've seen the reskinned <i>Bellona</i>, its pretty good... but I think we really need an official "seventy-four" model to use for third rates... besides, the battleship models are of another age and while it isn't vital, it would be nice to have a model that fits the era. But I'm pretty sure...

    Aye. And as for the code to slow the sails down... when you have a smaller crew, it takes longer to set and strike sail... so there must be a code somewhere.

    I would say that beating to quarters increases the amount of time it takes to set and strike sails, as the crew would be below working the guns. And a staccato drumroll would be a perfect sound for this action. Look at the code used for the firedrills, it could be similar to this.
