    Just so you know, as you seem to be stuck on thinking there has been a change in beta 8 to release: NOTHING has been changed with item spawns since August 28th 2006 when the code to limit them was added. Nothing. Absolutely nothing.

    I read somewhere that the "Ubisoft" branded version of the game is actually a bootleg, unofficial version. However the game itself is still the same code, it just was illegally sold (or still is?).

    My version is an english one. The installer seemed to work and the bat file too. Only thing was, I think I hit 'space' too many times during the bat file, that it registered those in the installer and thus ended the installer with the action to launch the game. Thus why I didnt see that option...

    Cayman is different. It skips tutorial altogether when you do a stormy start. It has to do with a locator being locked somewhere when it shouldn't. CCC or PirateKK know how to tackle those really quickly.
