    this will happen without any provocation especially on the 3 days before they ask you to pay for wages. usually around 30th, 1st, 2nd. i usually solve it by going to ship menu -> debt -> pay

    Tip: to evade an attacking ship when in global, press space/enter battle map immediately after the boarding hook icon appears. this means in battle map, your ship and the enemy is far enough for you to go back into global map and the attacker will be gone in global. this doesn't work on bounty...
