    @DH27 please try entering Tortuga Tavern again and have some patience. Apparently it is working but currently that location has a whole bunch of errors. It looks like it's crashed but it's not ;)

    btw, did you ever notice that the Black Pearl's (and variants) scale did NOT match AT ALL? :) according to all sources, she is about 50m long .. roughly the same as the HMS Bellona.. however ingame, she is like 20 m short compared to the Bellona.. I changed that and scaled her up to her "real"...

    you need a new model (even if its the same, you need a new model folder) and then add a copy of the ship to the ships_init.c .. but you won't be able to change the amount of cannons without adding more locators

    it's possible to use the DirectSail - multifleet feature in Maelstrom without any crash danger! ;) @Strannik implemented a rain system that follows real world caribbean rain patterns over the year! and I am getting closer to finish all ships that don't have working lanterns / lights yet

    no, since we are mainly active on discord. I didn't try to manually search my gear yet, but the other option is definitly working. You need to get to the exit location of your ship's deck.. was like that since always ;)

    Yes that's unfortunately the Tortuga tavern which lets the game crash ATM. I noticed that a couple of days before, too. We will try to fix that asap

    yeah you can board the Black Pearl on that storyline quest you are.. unfortunally after you triggered the artifact, so you'd have to wait until we fix the abilities. I think you can't board the Dutchman. You can buy them tho or give them to yourself by cheats

    "switch" on the fly is not possible. They are pretty different engines. If you want the original Storm 2.0 you'd have to get yourself a copy of the original "Pirates of the Caribbean" aka Sea Dogs 2 and ALSO the New Horizons mod folder for Storm 2.0, as the code changed a bit (you can get that...

    well 4 times larger than a few 100 kb .. I take that for the sake of THAT improved quality! @Mazioman can you maybe set up a public Google Drive folder where you can share me / us the textures you already upscaled (PM me the link)? I will check upscaling AI myself next weekend

    wow this looks indeed very good! I think my RTX2080 would be capable of upscaling everything .. are there plugins for image editing software? This might come in very handy for our Maelstrom project, since those kinda crappy vanilla textures are a lot more noticable with an improved rendering...

    I think @Strannik makes very good progress here ;) I even think we may be close to releasing it as the new stable weather system for Maelstrom: New Horizons :)
