    I only meant captain levels here ;) But, as I say in my post above, I now agree with you, that captains should have no link to the players level at all, though I still think they need to get weaker.

    Boarder HP bonus should also take affect when one crew has way more size than the other IMO. Boarder level is ok if its completely loose from player level. If you are a lowlevel, you have to trust your crew to help you, I think this is a good concept. ATM I am tweaking the captains rank...

    yeah but it always gets equipped. Which is kinda dumb because my normal blade is an english officer sabre which behaves definitly better than those knives ;)

    Cannot Confirm Problem with gaurds going crazy at Port Royal.

    Did you, by any chance, got asked by a naval officer if you are a pirate? That caused trouble between guards and navals in my game. (The naval officers attacked me and it looked like the guards wanted to help me).

    Even better: as soon as you shoot the musket your musket gets automatically equipped with a knife :shrug If you have no knife left in the inventory, the bug doesn't occur.
