    I never got it working in the Stock game either. Actually, he just stood around in the Pirate town and wouldn't ever follow or join my passengers list, yet his dialog sounded like he was my officer. Frelling thing, was one of the reasons I went to the Build Mod.

    Black Bart needs to definately be added to the Beta Testers section of the readme. He has done quite a bit of hard core testing for this version.     You can tell the officer to sit the boardings out. That way you don't have to manually remove them and add them each time.

    "Build Mod" isn't really something definable like that... it's too generic and can reference any number of things. The name of this PotC enhancement package of goodies doesn't really exist.
