    The answer is no you can't sail out i tried on the world map and in sail mode too before posting here. In fact the invisible wall is there no matter what. If there is a hole somewhere in it then that is probably unnoticable in case you haven't rammed the "wall" on all its lenght.

    Thanks, it seems there was a "Sail to" option in one of the menus, the only way out in fact, now back to the waters.
