    In your POTC folder have you set the screen resolution in the "engine.ini? The settings are on the top. screen_x and screen_y Set those to your screen resolution, click "file" and save. Then try. Your monitor might not run at the default resolution.

    Your system should be able to run this game fine. I used a similar system until 2013. How did you install it? Online? From the cd's?

    I took an escort job to test the cannons and they work fine. The problem is now the constant storms in battles. They reduced the hull health of my Polacca to 6% before I could get back on the world map and then direct sail into port to end it. It has never been this bad before.

    You can direct sail between certain islands that are close together. I remember that there were some islands in the lower right hand corner of the map that you could direct sail between, but you could not sail from them to a close by town on the mainland.

    Since it seems there is no fix for this while Levis's fixes are installed I have been working on getting a new install up and running without them. We shall see how it works out.
