    I'm trying out realistic mode but in direct sail the day/night cycle isn't working I'm getting the end of day reports but it's always daytime Sorry don't have a save alt tab'd to type this and the game crashed while I was typing and I hadn't saved yet

    Ok so I thought of a simpler way (maybe) When you buy and sell at a merchant you get a message of how long it took to transfer the goods and the clock is advanced. So the code is already there. So how about when you sail over cargo, hulks and boats the same thing you get a report of how long it...

    I agree, The only cheat I use is to give myself the normal compass and that's only because on my monitor I cant read the tiny one you start with.

    Yep start with a hoy which was lost in the storm again, But I have a plan the French want the whole island they seem hell bent on taking Bridgetown I've seen three surrender and 2 sunk reports so I'm going to take the tub and seize one of those surrendered ships :P

    I only play ironman, and the ship was a hoy then I tried the light pinnance (might have spelled that wrong :p) Fair enough evil storm and all but I have -40 leather in the hold so I cant sell it

    That's the point, I do consignment runs but the time given to complete is always 30 days so I wanted a way to maybe slow me up a bit if you get what I mean or maybe you can have the merchants give a deadline based on distance, like Bridgetown to sao Jorge 4 days.     Ok got it to work. It was because I had changed my ship type, It only works if I take the heavy lugger. o_O Is that how you made it ?

    I cant post a save because it crashes at the start of the hawk story line if I choose the stormy start it shows the movie and then goes to black screen and crashes [EDIT] latest update 28th sep
