    Game Length

    `6-8` hours would only last one day. Having to start a new character everyday would get really boring very quickly.

    Game Speed

    I look at the `6-8` hour career like this. You're dying to run a mile. But you only have 1 minute. How far in to a mile can you get in one minute?

    Pirates! Information/Features All In One!

    I don't remember, it's one where they attack a ship, it surrenders on sight or something, and then the person playing sailed in to town and headed to the pub/tavern and was talking to all the people at `super-human` speeds. Looked FF'd to me.

    I'm not saying the game is going to be dull because the lack of death (Hell, Sid Meier's is working on this game) just the aspect of boarding other ships is going to be a bit odd if no one dies.

    Pirates! Information/Features All In One!

    In one of the newer trailers it showed a ship sailing at the trailer "fast" speed and then they went in to town and you could tell everything was fast fowarded. So I think the ships already sail slowly and the theory of the FF trailer to fit in more content is correct.

    I don't mind the lack of gore but I think when you board a ship crew members that are beaten should die with at least a little bit of blood. Sure, some can get knocked over but the lack of death seems rather....dull.

    It would be what the players make it. If they want to work together then it's coop. If they attack each other then it's pvp.

    But I wonder how good the AI is going to be. I hope they aren't dumb and don't get predictable after 2 hours of gameplay like in Tortuga/Pirate Hunter/Seize & Destroy.
