Is the swordplay ridiculously easy for everyone else too?
If you think the `sword-fights` are easy now...just wait until you get <i>old</i>. I found it nearly impossible to win any `sword-fights` with my pirate in his `mid-forties` with fencing as his main skill on swashbuckler difficulty. Although this is my first `run-though` the game...so maybe...- Darkblade

Choosing eras, skills and difficulty
I didn't get the choice to select the era, skill, or difficulty either, so at least we know it's not a bug of some kind. Cheers- Darkblade
