Bug in Woodes Rogers Storyline
Thanks to You Jack Rackham and Salonikasurf! I have found a workaround to the problem: William Dampier didn't show up there, but I was able to bypass the fight and go on with the quest, diving into the sea, swimming to the cove and opening the hatch at the bottom of It.
