A question on plunder?

If I have a fleet of ships say 8 and I attack with an attack ship and defeat the enemy can I choose which ship that I would like the goods to go to or do they have to go with the ship that attacked? If not it would be nice to be able to build a fleet of attack and merchant ships and have the merchant ships carry the plunder......just a thought..... how do you feel. Thanks Curt.

Your cargo is spread out over your fleet and not broken down by ship. You can choose which cargo to take or which to leave when you take a ship over.

Example would be?

It would be divided. That way, if you lose one of you ships in storm or on rocks, you'll lose a relative portion of your plunder as well (at least you did in the original - I haven't lost a ship that way in this version yet).
