i cant figure out what i need to do next. i have to find out as much as i can about a guy named pieer (spelling problems) i was told to go from saint johns to tortuga and ask the locals. well locals say nothing about him... but i got a bunch of log updates from - tavern, brothel, money lender, and shipyard. i went back to saint johns to report, but the guy "ejected me without a word" im guessing that i still need more info. where can i find that? or am i ready for the next step (i used a backup save that took me before the conversation.)

Yes, you need to talk to the shopowner as well. Then you can go back to Morgan.
I'm stuck on the next part of the quest though.... Can anybody tell me where the prison is??
