I notice that letters like é and ñ are still not fixed in Build 13. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/modding.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":modding" border="0" alt="modding.gif" />

It depends on the font used. Some of the fonts do have the proper characters, but some don't. I think most interface fonts do have them, but I am not entirely sure.

What happens with these characters? Are they displayed as "e" and "n" or aren't they displayed at all? I know I replaced the "ç" characters with "c" in some fonts, because these fonts simply didn't have the "ç" characters. I did this so that the characters at least ARE displayed, even though it is incorrect. Otherwise the characters would simply be completely missing. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wacko.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="wacko.gif" />

Well, it is whatever font the game uses by default in Build 13.

The characters names, display across the top of the screen in bold letters during dialogs, showed these problems.

é was replaced with just e I think.

ñ was replaced with a slightly out of place o.

As these were part of new character names, I didn't have time to test all the letters
á í ú.

There are several fonts used in the game. Some are used for the interfaces, some for the dialogs. I know that the dialog fonts do have most of the required characters, but I can imagine some of the interface fonts don't. So that would explain the trouble with the names in the top part of the dialog window. The best I think we can do about that is to replace the <i>é</i> and <i>ñ</i> characters with <i>e</i> and <i>n</i> in the fonts ini file. That we we don't have to change the actual characters' names so that once we have a font that does have these characters added, we can re-enable them.
