Build 13 Problem

Hi,
I was wondering if somebody could help me with a problem I've got. Basically, my save file has broken for no reason at all. The game didn't crash while saving, so I can't figure out what caused the corruption.
However, shortly before this, I had a problem at 'Isla Muella' where the game crashed whenever I tried to 'fast travel' somewhere, enter the port or get a room at the tavern. I saved the game near the town gates. Since then, whenever I try to load the save file, the game crashes. I've included the error logs in this post.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You do know Build 13 requires a new game to be started, don't you? I don't know how to fix the savegame. I recommend starting a new game.

if it isn't what pieter suggests, then i'd recommend always making a backup savefile from now on, from the previous place where you saved for instance. just keep the old savefile as a seperate file when you save the game. it's of course not nessesary to keep all of them, two's enough.

It was a new save file; It simply stopped working. I think I'll take the advice and just save after every quest.


Also, I've noticed another bug where sometimes, after saving, the game gets stuck on the save game menu. The file images disappear and you have to exit via task manager. Just thought you'd like to know that one <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="icon_wink.gif" />

that bug sounds like something with your video card. maybe it's the wrong type or something. i've had it happen with other games as well.

I sometimes have something odd happening when saving. However, pressing F1 in such a case will return me to the regular game's main menu, after which a press on the "Resume Game" button will return me to playing.
