Builds? I am new

Hi All

Apologies for my stupidity, however, i have played POTC for a grand total of 3 days and i was looking for some cheats and found this site. Yeah i know i shouldn't cheat but with work commitmentsi don't have a hell of a lot of time to play. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/mad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":c" border="0" alt="mad.gif" />

Cut a loing story short, what are the Builds and what do they do? Where do I find them? Where can I find out what changes i can make to the game and how do I get God mode?

To get the builds, best go to the modding forum, Catalina´s so kind to post a new link as fast as the old one screws up.

What they do is, they make PotC much more like Pirates, you can get Letters of Marque from the governors and be promoted if you serve the country faithfully. They fix some bugs of the stock version as well, at least so I`ve been told. Why, most information about them you´ll find in the Build 11 readme thread in the modding forum and the build 12 release annoucement, including a build 12 readme.

Where do you find Tailor shops??

Tailor shops are in every town - but there is no "fast travel" link - you have to walk around the towns and go past every door - it will show as the Tailor Shop in the log when you pass the door.

The QC tailor is the big `merchant-looking` fellow in the blue suit standing near the gate.

Other locations off the top of my head -

Conceicao - turn right after entering main gate and go down steps, then go up steps to building in front of you and it's the first door.

Redmond - go left when you get through the main gate, and down the stairs - the shop is past a long rock wall that is on your right - turn right and go up narrow stairs to Tailor.

Oxbay - turn right when you enter gate and I believe it's the second door on your left.

Greenford - Tailor is nearest door to the entrance to the prison - in corner - turn right at prison gate and follow fence around - left corner.

Douwesen - I believe it's right across the gate from the Townhall.

Isla Muelle, whew, tough one... Big town, lots of little "squares" - go through gate and across central area on left bridge. Go downstairs to left and then downstairs again to left. Tailor is in right corner, I think...

Falaise de Fleur - <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/unsure.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":?" border="0" alt="unsure.gif" /> Hummm... I think it's in the same section of town as the store - fast travel to the store and go right downstairs as you leave the store - should be right there.
