Can' even install?

Hi guys...I just got Pirates for Xmas...got back to Germany...got my new computer in the mail and installed everything clean. I just got a P4 3.4 GHZ, Nvidia 6800 GT, I have 190GB HD, 2048 XMS Platinum corsair RAm...the works...more than enough for this game...yet when I go to install it says it is setting up the wizard then the icon minimizes to the bottom and it won't let me open it up and it won't even go to the install wizard...I tried reinstalling ISScript but that won't install either and I am at a loss. Also I got the limited edition DVD...I take it that has the game and this problem has nothing to do with the fact that it is a dvd (I do have a DVD Rom as well), right?
